Castro, Mission, Noe & other local dogs

We’re passionate about telling stories – dogs and photography are an easy win.  Dolores Park happens to be the epicenter of these two intersecting interests.  If you’ve ever visited Dolores Park you’ll know that there seems to be an endless stream of dogs.  All these canine personalities make Dolores Park seem more like an urban zoo than a park and we couldn’t help but visually document this spectacle.

After spending my formative years begging my parents for a dog I finally decided I’d take advantage of having my own apartment and embrace my childhood dream.  Dolores Park has been somewhat of a magical land filled with an array of experiences where I’ve learned that owning a dog opens up a whole new world of adventure.  My hope is that these pictures celebrate some of the fun times and great dog personalities who make up the Dolores Park dog community.

Hi, I’m the owner of Rocky, the german shepherd in the park this morning. If there’s any way I can get some of the shots you took of Rocky this morning, I’d be very appreciative. I haven’t been able to get any great shots of him yet.

  2. Hi Ken,

It was great meeting and talking to you at the DogFest on Saturday. I wanted to let you know that our photos from the event have been posted and that you and Falcor are in the gallery.

You have some great portraits of a bunch of dogs I know….and then many I don’t yet know.

I hope we’ll bump into each other soon in Dolores Park.

    • thanks for the kind words Ginger. I feel like there’s 5 new dogs every day at the park so the photography feels like it could be endless. Bring on the dogs! ;)
